About the Festival

Stop e‑Motion Days (SeM Days) is an international film festival fully dedicated to stop‑motion animation, hosted at M9 – Museum of the 20th Century in Venice Mestre.
Through screenings, talks, workshops, and retrospectives, the festival connects students, professionals, and audiences who love frame‑by‑frame cinema

Five days of stop-motion cinema: official competition screenings, masterclasses with directors and animators, hands-on workshops, and retrospectives celebrating the masters of the craft & panels on the craft.
